SHORT FILMS

The Briefcase

briefcase The Briefcase is a dramatic short silent film. It is subtitled throughout and features NAT sound and an original musical score. The film was shot on 16 mm and then edited and distributed digitally. For the majority of the film, we follow real time. However, the beginning point of the film is also the end, and at various points throughout we jump around a bit in time. The film begins with a car speeding down an open country road. We are introduced to our two main characters, Bridget and Casey. Both girls are young, sexy, and trashy. Throughout the film, we follow these two girls as they struggle to deal with each other and others. They meet a man, Jim, in a truck stop diner who offers to give them a ride, which introduces them to the main object of the film, The Briefcase. Made in the Spring of 2009.
