Kalamazoo Fall: The Turning of Color

Kalamazoo Fall was shot on a chilly, October Saturday in Kalamazoo, MI. This was filmed on the Canon HF11 and intended to test and demonstrate the capabilities of the camera. What resulted is a beautiful montage of a lively world transforming before our eyes in crystal clear high definition. Made in October, 2009.

The Carousel

Winner of the Best Documentary Award and Team Journal Most Visited Award at the 2007 Adobe Reel Ideas Studio Student Film Competition at the Cannes Film Festival. Color, profile, slice of life, fun, and visually interesting. It’s a film about contrasts, it’s a film about a small bit of the human condition. I was the editor for this piece. We found a clown roaming the streets of Cannes, and decided to follow him and learn more about him.
