A couple years ago when I visited the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and participated with the Adobe Reel Ideas program, I met Jim Kenney – who recently just released his feature documentary film – Polack – about the search for the source of the Polish jokes in America.

The trailer itself is pretty intense, an enlightening journey of self discovery. Definitely something to check out!

End of the Year! Happy 2012!

It’s been an awesome and productive year for me. I was able to travel a lot more than usual – and got to work on some really awesome projects in all different types of environments. From Los Angeles (VJ’ing @ The Roxy), San Francisco (Corporate/Creative Work), Kalamazoo (Corporate Work), Detroit (Corporate Work), and New York (Creative Work), all the way north to Canada (Corporate Work) and Maine (Creative Work) – 2011 was really all about the adventures and expanding my skill set.

2011 taught me a lot – and I was able to improve a lot. With new gear from cameras to lenses to sliders, I’ve learned a ton not just about video, but photography and the art of the image in general. It is crazy to think that just a year ago today I got my T2i in the mail and joined the HDSLR revolution. I can’t imagine a day without it now!

This year, I’ll be moving across country to San Francisco, which will without a doubt bring more creative projects my way. It is going to be a great year all about the open road and starting fresh. I’m really looking forward to 2012 – and wish you all the best!
